The chain is real
There is an actual blockchain under the scoreboard. Not a diagram of one, not a plan for
one: mapminter-testnet-1 is a Cosmos test network that is producing blocks
right now, and the counter below is read live from its public RPC by your own browser while
you look at this page.

Closed source for now: the node software is its own repository and it is not public yet. The chain itself is not a mock, and this page does not ask you to take that on trust: the height above comes from the same endpoint anybody can call, and the block explorer shows the same blocks from the outside. If the number ever stops moving, that is the network having a moment, not a decoration that broke.
The token is worthless (on purpose)
This is the part people skip, so it is not in the footer. $MESHR has no price, no market and no value, and none of that is an oversight. It is the design.
What that actually means
- It is a sandbox, and everyone is invited into it. A test chain is the cheapest honest way to learn how a wallet, a key, a signature and a ledger behave, with nothing at stake, because there is nothing at stake. Break it, lose it, start again. That is the training ground this token exists to be.
- We promise nothing. Not a value, not a listing, not a conversion, not a future. If the outside world ever decides otherwise, that will be the outside world's doing, not a plan of ours, not a thing we are working towards, and not something anyone here has hinted at.
- There is nothing to buy. No sale, no presale, no allocation, no waiting list. Anyone offering to sell you $MESHR, or asking you for funds or a seed phrase to receive it, is defrauding you.
- What the token actually does is record the work: who measured which cell, and when, in a ledger nobody (including us) can quietly edit afterwards. It is a scoreboard with a clean audit trail. Details are on the $MESHR page.

MapMinter is built by one person, one cat, and one AI. Rather than invent colleagues, here is that one person from every angle a camera can reach, each with the job he does on that side. The cat gets two cards because he does two jobs. The last three cards are the colleagues nobody had to invent.

CopyCat. Copywriter. Writes by lying flat on the keyboard until a sentence appears, then walking away before anyone can suggest an edit. Trimmed the motto one word at a time until only the honest part was left. Names things and refuses to explain them. Considers a deadline a personal insult. Every word on this site went past him. He read none of them and approved all of them.

Team player. Works hard and drinks harder. Without him, this project would not exist.

Start mapping
The team is a joke. The map is not: every lit cell on it is a place where somebody's radio actually heard the mesh, and the next empty road is only empty because nobody has driven it with a device yet. The get started page is five steps long.
